I went looking for color this afternoon, made more difficult by the pewter sky of a late afternoon in November. I did manage to find a few things that weren’t brown or gray.

Pretty, pretty! What is the first plant, the piney-looking one with the red berry?
The photos are terrific! We finally got some rain yesterday although temps are still in the high 70s/low 80s. I’m still waiting for fall … and for Sarah Palin to quit giving interviews!
