Can't say I've read Hiaasen but our book club has got me to read a variety of books - many of which I liked but now can't remember their titles. Guess I need to make a list of 100 books I've read :-) I've wondered the same thing about my wedding dress and done the same thing - kept it. It's raining here which is a blessing because we're in a severe drought. Hope it continues! Love the blog redo as my name and email address now appear again automatically. He does tend to have a standard plot line, but the humor and silly situations that he puts the characters in always keep me entertained. But different strokes, etc. Read what you like!
