Mother Nature is pissing me off.
Look at those temperatures people. That’s two nights of hard freeze, just when the strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, apples and peaches are blooming. I am seriously considering complaining to somebody at the Department of That Just Sucks.
If all the local crops freeze I will be Cranky with a capital C. It happened two years ago and we were forced to eat pretend fruit all summer. You know pretend fruit, it’s those red, hard, cottony things that the supermarkets call strawberries. And the little blue tasteless pellets they think are blueberries. And the Washington apples. Colorado peaches. Phhyt.
Mother Nature is sapping my will to live, I tell ya.

Okay now that’s COLD! We got a cold front here today too … but your temps trump ours.
We have those temps, too, but nothing is blooming and it isn’t nearly as unseasonable as it is for you. It really would suck if all your fruit blossoms froze.
