The never-ending meme

I was tagged by KmKat…..

1. What time did you get up this morning? 6 a.m.

2. How do you like your steak? Medium rare.

3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema? What’s a cinema? We’ve been strictly a movie rental household for years due to Jack’s severe hearing problems. Closed captioning, don’t you know.

4. What is/are your favorite TV show(s)? Grey’s Anatomy, although it’s not as much fun as it used to be. Too cranky. I thought My Name is Earl was dum when I first saw it but lately watching it in reruns it reminds me of certain people I grew up with. That doesn’t mean it’s not dum but it makes me nostalgic. Two and a Half Men. Anything with good dialog. Don’t like violence and hate reality shows.

5. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? Wow. Anywhere? Can it be more than one place? Maybe Hawaii or some other tropical place for part of the year and Vermont on  a lake. Winter vs. summer.

6. What did you have for breakfast? Locally grown peaches and blueberries, Cherrios with skim milk and a cup of tea. We eats a healthy breakfast here to make up for the rest of the day (lunch was BBQ chicken wings).

7. What is your favorite cuisine? Mexican. No, Italian. No, wait, Chinese. No, Pizza.

12. What are your favorite clothes? Knit capri pants in the summer, a well-fitting pair of jeans in the winter.

13. Where would you visit if you had the chance? Europe, Tahiti, Australia, New Zealand.

14. Cup 1/2 empty or 1/2 full? Depends upon the day; today it’s half-full.

24. Pets? 2 9-year-old cats.

25. Any new and exciting news that you’d like to share? Yes! A friend is letting me borrow one of her spinning wheels to play with. I pick it up on Sunday. Woot!

26. What did you want to be when you were little? A ballet dancer. Oh, and tall. And coordinated.

27. What is your first childhood memory? Curling up on the clean sheets in the linen cupboard and closing the doors behind me. I apparently fell asleep in there and couldn’t be found for hours. I still remember the smell of those sheets.  Oh, and Butch telling me there was no Santa Claus. On Christmas Eve when we were both sick with the mumps (I think it was).

31. Been in a car accident? Yup, once or twice when I was driving and once when someone else was driving. Car damage only.

32. Any pet peeves? There’s a local grocery store that has these automatic misters on the leafy vegetables. They get me every time I reach for the red leaf lettuce. If I’d wanted a shower, I’d've taken one before I left home.

33. Favorite pizza topping? Pepperoni, black olives and lots of cheese.

34. Favorite flower? I like pansies and peonies in the spring. Summer it’s anything in bloom and with a scent. Sweet autumn clematis in the fall.

49. What time did you finish this quiz? 2:30 pm.

50. Coffee Drinker? Black, decaf, thankyouverymuch.

  1. Gail says:

She claims I threw her out of the car when she was 13, does that count for a car accident? Actually, she opened the door and fell out. The linen closet was always a great hiding place, we also lost you in the den closet where you fell asleep on top of a bunch of boots. Scared the hell out of us again and for some reason I thought it was my fault. Closets have always played a big part in her life. We thought about getting a tattoo in New Orleans about 40 years ago. Didn’t know you didn’t pass your driving test and we need to talk about your choices in TV shows.

  2. Diane says:

You did too push me out of the car. Yeah, you probably told me I’d find a pony in those closets.

Mom always loved me best. Neener, neener.

  3. gayle says:

    Giggling, here… 8)
If you’re ever in Vermont, stop and visit. I’ll let you sleep in my closet…

  4. Cookie says:

I hope they slowed down before you were pushed/fell out of the car.

When does the wheel arrive?! :D

  5. Angie says:

Love your breakfast! How fun to have a wheel to play with!
