A red letter day

jenfiber

Here’s my reward for a month of spinning.

I won a Team Crankypants! prize for participating in the 2009 Tour de Fleece (you spin every day that the Tour de France riders race). This is hand dyed Finn wool roving from Moonlightbaker Jen. This “Scarlet” colorway looks made for me. I’ve been carrying it around and patting and petting and squeezing it all day. (I’ve nicknamed it George.)

Jen sent along some of her lovely stitch markers, (pretty, no?) and one of her delicious “no-calorie” note cards to complete the package. markers

It was a lovely prize to receive. Thank you Jen for donating it. I’m tickled pink. Er, red.

I bet if you visit her Etsy shop you might find something that you could pet and call George too. She does yarn and markers and fiber and cards, enough to keep away fiber withdrawal for quite some time.
