- Just because a travel mug has a closed cover doesn’t mean you can throw it in your tote bag upside down and not worry about it leaking.
- Insulated travel mugs keep hot tea HOT!
- There’s a lot of liquid in 16 -ounces.
- Enough to create a pool on a leather car seat.
- Tea will leak into the stitching of leather seats and there’s nothing you can do about it while driving.
- Slamming on the brakes will cause a tote bag and it’s soggy contents to topple over and spill onto the floor of the front seat.
- It’s good to have lots of paper towels in your car.
- It’s better to have them easily accessible.
- Cleaning up spilled tea will cause you to be late for work.

We’ve started working overtime already (yay! for time and a half) which we didn’t expect for several weeks. It’s cutting into my knitting and spinning time, never mind the blog writing and reading. At the same time, I’ve gone from having one evening event a week to having 2 or 3, so there goes the porch rocking too. I think there’s a husband and a couple cats that are going to feel neglected soon.

Oh nooo! My sympathies. Not a good way to start ones day. I’ve suffered the dumped purse with all of the contents spewed, but it never involved 16 oz of liquid thank God! I actually now hook the handle(s) of my knitting bag onto the passenger seat rest and then push it into the “up” position which keeps said bag put along with it’s contents. I’m sorry your precious evening time is being cut into.

Oh! I did that with a cup of coffee dumped IN my BRAND NEW black fabric purse – the fabric dye then ran onto my checkbook cover and other contents of my purse! Thankfully, there was no knitting ruination.
At least, it wasn’t hot chocolate. o.0
I wonder if the kitties could look after the husband until life quiets down a bit for you.
