Sky10.17.09

A blue sky for the first time in two weeks. It’s been cold, rainy and overcast for most of the month and feels more like late November than what should be one of our most beautiful times of year.

Normal life is resuming. Most of the follow up is done from the day of service project and now I’m tackling the piles that have accumulated for the last two months. The kitchen has been reclaimed and the rest of the house won’t take long except for the office.Nightmare piles of paperwork.

Frost warnings tonight so I need to go cover everything. Tomorrow I’ll start bringing plants in for the winter and clean up the pot garden. It’s supposed to be our one beautiful day for the week so I’d like to spend it outdoors.

There’s a cat chin weighing down my right arm and a cat tail that twitches every time I reach for the third row of keys so it’s time to go.

Have a good weekend chickadees.

You’re confessing to the world you have a pot garden? Not to worry I can corroborate it is one lush and lovely agglomeration of petal and vegetable and on many occasions contains some orphans from my own ragtag collection left in your capable care. Hope you enjoyed the sunshine. K and I walked 6 miles! Oy!

Lovely picture! I kinda miss my cat insisting that I relax, he’s begun laying on my husband instead of me.

Oh, thank you for the red maple photo with sky. Good luck with reclaiming the house and I hope the feline respected your arm. :D

Beautiful picture! I love the sight of autumn leaves against blue sky. (Sure wish we had more blue sky up here… *sigh*)
We woke to another dusting of snow on the ground.
