Some of the hats I made for the charity our knitting group supported this year. They’re all made of machine washable wool, mostly Brown Sheep worsted weight. The hats were supposed to be a stash buster but then I found I didn’t have a second color of worsted weight superwash in the stash so that called for a trip to the yarn shop. Which led to more than just a second color of worsted weight. What can I say? Yarn fumes lower my resistance. The patterns are from a variety of sources, including Charlene Schurch’s Hat’s On! and Jared Flood’s Turn a Square (top left).
Wooden Santa, 5 inches tall. I don’t remember buying this little guy, so I think he was a gift.

Wow… how many can you kick out for Texas before Christmas? Oh … and get therm here.
Oh and how are you with mittens?
Wonderful warm hats! And I love egg-shaped Santas, just saw a felted one on soxanne’s blog. So cute.
You’ve been busy! Wonderful hats and a lovely Santa.

Terrific toques! Nice santa, too. Where do you find the time?
How do you know what size to make? My hats always seem too big or too small. These are great, nice colors. Time to go through my stash after the blanket is done.
Nice hats! I love ‘Hat’s On!’ – I’ve knit up quite a few of the patterns.
Love that Santa, too!
Excellent hat production and I’m sure they’ll be appreciated, stash-busting or not.
Very nice Santa–he’s got character.
Nice collection! Wool fumes..they get you every time. There is even a smell-a-screen version on my computer.
