Your photos look like what I’ve been seeing for the last 6 weeks. And we still have 2 months of winter to go…
I’ve got the pattern for Eris, but haven’t knit it yet. At the rate I’m going, I might get to it in 2015 or so. Can you wait that long for me to catch up?

How about just doing the edge without the cables? I can’t tell exactly how the edge is made — i-cord? rolled stockinette tacked on the back? That treatment would match the edge down the front and around the neck.
